Your tasks

Project Portfolio Management
- Maintain a portfolio-level view of all development projects
- Prioritize projects with management and support resource balancing, scenario planning, and long-term portfolio planning
- Identify cross-project risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints
Management Interface
- Act as escalation point for major project risks and conflicts
- Provide transparent reporting and direct input to senior management
- Ensure the project management perspective is represented in strategic decisions
Project Management Support & Governance
- Provide senior PM guidance to project managers and promote pragmatic, efficient planning approaches
- Review project plans, timelines, and outputs with a critical and quality-focused perspective
- Support planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement of PM processes
Team Development
- Mentor and develop the project management team
- Foster knowledge sharing within the PM team and identify training needs
Own Project Responsibility
- Lead selected development projects from concept to market launch

Your profile

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Several years of experience managing complex development projects
Strong understanding of project portfolio management and prioritization
Experience with classic, agile, or hybrid project management approaches
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
Fluent English required, German is a plus
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., MDR/IVDR, FDA, ISO 13485) is beneficial

Deine Aufgaben

Projektportfoliomanagement
- Sicherstellung des Überblicks über alle Entwicklungsprojekte auf Portfolioebene
- Priorisierung von Projekten gemeinsam mit dem Management sowie Unterstützung bei Ressourcenabstimmung, Szenarioplanung und langfristiger Portfolioplanung
- Identifikation projektübergreifender Risiken, Abhängigkeiten und Kapazitätsengpässe
Schnittstelle zum Management
- Übernahme der Eskalationsverantwortung für wesentliche Projektrisiken und Konflikte
- Bereitstellung transparenter Berichte und direkter Entscheidungsgrundlagen für das Senior Management
- Gewährleistung, dass die Perspektive des Projektmanagements in strategische Entscheidungen einfließt
Unterstützung & Governance im Projektmanagement
- Bereitstellung von Senior-PM-Unterstützung für Projektmanager:innen und Förderung pragmatischer, effizienter Planungsansätze
- Kritische Prüfung von Projektplänen, Zeitplänen und Ergebnissen unter Qualitätsgesichtspunkten
- Unterstützung bei Planung, Priorisierung und kontinuierlicher Verbesserung der PM-Prozesse
Teamentwicklung
- Coaching und Weiterentwicklung des Projektmanagement-Teams
- Förderung des Wissensaustauschs im PM-Team und Identifikation von Schulungsbedarfen
Eigene Projektverantwortung
- Leitung ausgewählter Entwicklungsprojekte von der Konzeptphase bis zur Markteinführung

Das solltest du mitbringen

Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwesen, Betriebswirtschaft, Projektmanagement oder in einem vergleichbaren Studiengang
Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Leitung komplexer Entwicklungsprojekte
Ausgeprägtes Verständnis von Projektportfoliomanagement und Priorisierung
Erfahrung mit klassischen, agilen oder hybriden Projektmanagement-Methoden
Ausgeprägte Führungs-, Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Management-Kompetenzen
Strukturierte, pragmatische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
Fließende Englischkenntnisse erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil
Erfahrung in regulierten Umfeldern (z. B. MDR/IVDR, FDA, ISO 13485) ist von Vorteil
