Your tasks

  • Portfolio Management
    • Maintain a portfolio-wide view of all development initiatives
    • Drive resource allocation, scenario planning, and long-term portfolio strategy
    • Identify and manage cross-project risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints
    • Support management decision-making and prioritization through structured analysis and recommendations
  • Team Leadership
    • Mentor, coach, and develop the project management team
    • Promote knowledge sharing within the PM organization and identify training and development needs
    • Represent the project management perspective in strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Project Management Support & Governance
    • Provide senior project management guidance and foster pragmatic, efficient planning and execution approaches
    • Review project plans, schedules, and deliverables with a strong focus on quality, feasibility, and risk management
    • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of project management processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Project Leadership
    • Lead development projects from concept through to successful market launch
    • Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives

Your profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Several years of experience leading & delivering complex development projects, ideally within interdisciplinary environments such as MedTech, Biotech, Diagnostics, or Measurement & Testing Systems
  • Initial experience in project portfolio management, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio balancing
  • Solid understanding of classical, agile, or hybrid project management methodologies and their practical application
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English required, German is a plus
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., MDR/IVDR, FDA, ISO 13485) is beneficial
  • Knowledge of innovation and project governance frameworks such as Stage-Gate, Three Horizons, Lean Management, V-Model, or comparable approaches is an advantage
